East Asia Conflicts

Intro: There are many issues that affected easterly Asia from 1920 through the 21st century. Three of these issues are the Spread of socialism, skitter of Dictators and Nuclear Weapons. These issues affected the countries involved in many ways. bingle of the most significant issues facing East Asia was the Spread of socialism. Communism is a type of g all overnment that owns everything. The people wipe out no say in the establishment. The shapement controls everything.Cambodia- In 1975 the Khmer Rouge took over the capital city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Khmer Rouge were people who supported a commie government. The Khmer Rouge set up a communist government that was led by the Pol Pot. In their round down to turn Cambodia into a Communist res publica they killed over 2 million people by working them to death, starvation or just slaughtering hundreds of people at a time in a killing field. They attempt to set up the government like Mao Zedongs communist governmen t in mainland chinaware. They tested to rebuild the countries agriculture system. They also attempted to rid the arena of western practices. China- Mao Zedong took over China and turned them into a communist country before WWII, and he completely took over the country following the defeat of the Nationalist party in a Chinese civil war. The Communists goal was to restore China as a powerful nation. Mao based Chinas frugality off of Marxist socialism. The communist troops killed landlords who wouldnt give up their land. He then gave the land to the peasants who supported him. The government have all the businesses and farms. Mao introduced the five-year plan in 1953.Mao was determined to pass social equality. He made the Red Guard, this army consisted of inculcate school and college students. They targeted anyone who supported intellectual and artistic activities. All schools rotate down. Thousands of people were killed for being intellectual. In 1968 the Chinese army resto red govern by taking care of the Red Guard.!
